CHERRY BARS FOR A CROWD


 



 

These cherry chunks are a smooth cookie crust topped with a cherry pie filling, more biscuit paste and a drizzle of vanilla. Easy, impressive dessert that's perfect for crowd-feeding!

 

I love a good pie, and these bar cakes are like a handy pie, but with a little bit of work. Cherry bars always get great reviews and are very festive for a holiday gathering.

 

 

* Ingredients :

 

+Ingredients for the ten-minute paste:

 

° 2 cups of flour.

 

° 2 tablespoons of sugar.

 

° tablespoon of yeast.

 

° 1/4 cup milk powder.

 

° 1/2 cup oil

 

° a grain of salt.

 

2 ° cup warm water.

 

+ Filling ingredients:

 

° one and a half cups of cherry jam or a concentrated strawberry.

 

° 2 tablespoons of cream.

 

For face painting:

 

° A whisked egg with a quarter cup of liquid milk and vanilla.

 

° Sugar powder for face.

Put in a kneading bowl a cup and a half of flour, add yeast, sugar, milk, salt and warm water.

 

Knead the mixture into a liquid dough, then cover with a plastic bag and let it rest and ferment for 10 minutes.

 

We put the remaining flour and oil on it, and knead until we get a smooth and smooth dough.

 

Spread dough on a cutting board and take half of it, then place it on a greased tray with a layer of dough.

 

Placing filling of cherry jam & cream in middle and then covering with another layer of dough.

 

Brushing face tray with liquid milk, eggs & vanilla, and baking in a hot oven at 180 degrees Celsius, until face becomes brown.

 

After the cherry pie has cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar on top. And her feet are warm .
